Testimonials & Reviews - Karoon Hotel 3-star Iran Tehran Tripadvisor reviews, Google reviews & booking.com reviews Excellent Very good reviews Karoon Hotel 3-star Tehran Iran Valiasr Street VIP Traditional & Economic cheap budget single & double room near metro bus station Email booking reservationWe stayed there for 2 nights and would definitely recommend this place. Testimonials & Reviews - Karoon Hotel 3-star Iran TehranIt's in a quiet street and the rooms are spacious and clean. We even had a balcony. Breakfast was good and the metro just 5 min walking away from the hotel. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Very convinient place for visiting Tehran.Perfect stay in TehraN Great value for money.
The room itself was quite comfortable, clean and large (taking into account european standards). As for the amennities, there is huge LCD TV set with many iranian channels (first time I turn it on, there was an episode of the Top Gear), a fridge, an AC and free wifi (very fast, though there were occasional problems with the signal). The hotel restaurant has a garden and apparently it is open for the guests for 24/7, with a selection of some 10 meals . The breakfast is not exactly in the oppulent Luculus style, but still you have a variety of choices (from nuts to scrambled eggs and youghurs),
Testimonials & Reviews - Karoon Hotel 3-star Iran Tehran it is delicious and it serves its purposes. The staff was extremely polite and helpfull and serve as a good example of well-known iranian hospitality. As another plus, the metro station (Meydan-e Jahad) is roughly 150-200 metres with access to metro line 3. In order to get to mountains, Golestani palace or National Museum, you need to change to metro line 1 at Shahid Behesthi metro station. Bus rapid transport stop at Valiasr Street is quite close as well. Speaking about the Valiasr street (according to wiki, it has more than 17 kilometres!), with many shops and some restaurants, it is just round the corner.
Testimonials & Reviews - Karoon Hotel 3-star Iran Tehran On the other end of the Ghaffari street (where the Karoon hotel is located) there is a small grocery store. Because the hotel is not located EXACTLY ON the Valiasr street, you can sleep in the night without any problems. Another plus: the streets have their names presented both in farsi and english, so with little help of the google maps, you can´t miss it even if you will not use the cab. In any case, if you would like to use the taxi FROM the hotel, I´d strongly recommend to ask the hotel staff for the help.
